The New York Mets are so difficult to watch. They may win some games, but more often than not, they lose in ways that make you wish you had been out mowing the lawn or picking up the groceries.
While it’s refreshing to see guys like Carson Benge, A.J. Ewing, and Nolan McLean, it’s truly exasperating seeing a lineup with Jorge Polanco, Luis Robert, Jr., and Marcus Semien, with Freddy Peralta as the starting pitcher. Because you can pretty much surmise what the outcome is going to be.
And you can pretty much surmise that there will be a lot of talk surrounding the Mets as the calendar draws closer to the trade deadline.
